When you’ve planned out a whole story idea in your head and you’re so excited to write it but then you open up a blank word document to begin and realize that you actually know absolutely nothing about it and you’re completely lost in a sea of vague plot details and random dialogue.

Just something I wrote in my writing class today.
You hear horrible news. It could be anything. A natural disaster. A bank robbery. A murder. A serial killer stealing babies from their homes. Word breaks out and it catches like wildfire all over the news and the media. Everyone says, “Oh my god, that’s horrible.” People talk about it. They tell each other the same thing (“Hey, did you hear about…?”) over cups of coffee, over the water...
Should I blow $150 on Electric Zoo this year… hmm
